Q: I read you take sketches, what about lineart?
A: Sure, I'm a lineartist myself most of the time, so of course we take them! We're not very picky as long as it's your own character.


MOST IMPORTANT RULE:

How do I submit something? (partial)
When you want to submit a Deviation, please put the following in the ARTISTS COMMENTS of the deviation or in the NOTE:

*Name: (name of your OC)
*Species: (human, alien, cat, ...)
*Profession: (what your OC does for a job)
*Based on the world of: (if your OC is based on an existing concept, for example you've made a fan character for a game/anime/tv show/whatever, you put that game/anime/tv show/whatever here)
*The name of the club (optional for the Artists Comments --> so more people will know about us )

^That's so I don't have to search for it in your deviation. If one of these doesn't apply to your OC (for example, he/she hasn't got a job), just put "Unspecified" behind the word.

RULES

1. How do I join?
Just send us a note saying that you want to join and Watch us
You don’t need to put us in your journal or w/e, because we won’t be able to check it anyways. We would like you to put us in your signature at first, though, because we want this club to grow: Help spread word of our existence! (Note: Make sure that you put ‘Join’ as a subject.)
We will also put you on our Watch list, but keep in mind that we do not Watch you! It’s just in case something goes wrong and we lose the list of members.


2. How do I become an affiliate?
Just send us a note saying that you want to become an affiliate and we will put you in our list Put us in your list too, please! (Note: Make sure that you put ‘Affiliate’ as a subject.)


3. How do I submit something?
Just send us a note saying that you want to submit something. You can only send TWO submissions a time (read: in one note). Please wait until we have submitted your work until you send us a new note. This way we don’t have to submit tons of submissions at once and you will not be flooded by us (Note: Make sure that you put ‘Submission’ as a subject.)

4. What can I submit?
As long as the subject of your deviation is an OC, we will accept it. It can be in any category: we accept drawings, sculptures, photos, poetry & prose…
Your character doesn’t need to be human: It can also be an animal or anthro or w/e. We will submit sketches too, but this might change when the club grows.
We take fan characters, too!


5. What can't I submit?
We will definitely NOT accept fan art. This doesn't include fan art you made of other people’s OCs, though you will have to ask the owner of that OC for permission to submit. We do take fan characters, though.
For Literature: Please spell check! Nothing looks sillier than a great piece of poetry riddled with misspelled words and such. Also no `net language, please. (Though it is allowed in the artists comments, because we have nothing to say about that xP)
And please, don’t send any nudity, this is a club for all ages. Macabre and horror is allowed, though, but you will have to put the 'Mature Content' thingy on.

F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. What is an OC?
OC is short for ‘Original Character’. An OC is a character that you, the artist, thought up. That means a copyrighted character (ie. from a book, film, game etc) can not be an OC.
An OC doesn’t need to have a name, it can just be any random character.


2. How often do you update?
We try to update as often as possible, while not flooding your inboxes. We will upload whenever we get submissions, but as the club grows this will probably change.


3. Do I have to submit anything in order to stay a member?
Of course not! You can be a member without ever posting anything – though we’d love to see some submissions by all of our members!


4. How many characters can there be on one drawing?
As long as it's only two submissions per note, we really couldn't care less how many characters are on the page! The more the merrier, eh?


5. Does a drawn/painted/whatever'd version of yourself count as an OC?
Yep.
